Price
What one role costs for a month
One open role for one month, side by side. hireEZ publishes its self-serve price: the Growth seat, $494 a month paid upfront for the year ($5,929), or $549 a month paid monthly ($6,588 a year). Both options are an annual plan, after a 7-day free trial.2 Teams get a quote; Vendr's buyer data puts the median team contract at $13,000 a year.3
Boost's price is the pace you pick, and it stops when you pause it. At the Fast pace, 20 people a day, a month is 600 invites for $300, and the work after each invite is included.

Interviews: as many as your campaigns, AI screens and the scheduler turn up. hireEZ's pages give relative gains, such as "a 38% higher response rate", not a rate per seat.1
The two cards don't buy the same thing. A hireEZ seat is a year of a platform for one recruiter, for every role they work on: sourcing, a CRM, campaigns, screening, scheduling and reports. Boost's $300 buys 600 invites for one role and the work after them: about 17 interviews estimate, $17 each estimate.
Per person, they don't line up exactly: a seat comes to $1.48–1.65 per contact credit if you use the year's 4,000, but a credit is hireEZ's unit, not a message, and the plan page lists no cap on messages. A recruiter running campaigns for many roles all year spreads the seat over far more people, and at that volume it can cost less per person reached than Boost's $0.40–0.50 an invite. For one or two roles a year, Boost costs less: nothing in the months you're not hiring, and no plan to renew.
estimate Boost's figures come from its product model, until the pilot reports: 2.9% of the people invited book an interview, and 10.1% say they're interested. A month here is 30 days.
Speed and effort
What you do with each, step by step
Both do much of the work with AI. The difference is who runs it. hireEZ gives a recruiter an agent to direct, and nothing moves forward without that recruiter's approval.4 Boost is briefed by the hiring manager, who can approve each person in Manual mode or leave it on Autopilot, and HireAll recruiters do the outreach.
| With Boost | With hireEZ | |
|---|---|---|
| Say who you want | Describe the role in a chat or paste the job description. Boost turns it into must-haves and filters, and you fix anything that's off. | Brief EZ Agent in plain language: the role, the must-haves, the rules. It plans the search with salary benchmarks and competitive insights.1,4 |
| Find the people | Reads every matching LinkedIn profile in full and checks each one against your must-haves. | The agent searches 45+ job boards and platforms plus your ATS, ranks people by fit and gives the why behind each match.1,4 |
| First message | HireAll recruiters send a plain LinkedIn invite, then your intro once they accept. You see and edit the wording before it starts. | Campaigns by email, text and InMail, drafted with AI; recruiters can review every message.1 |
| Follow up | At most two short follow-ups, sent for you. Boost answers their questions about the role. | Follow-up sequences in the same campaign, and nurture for people who aren't ready yet.1 |
| Screen | Everyone who says yes gets your two-minute questionnaire. You read the answers first. | A conversational AI screen by voice or chat, with a summary, a job-fit analysis and a fraud check.1 |
| Book the interview | They pick a free slot in your Google Calendar. | Once a recruiter moves someone forward, AI Scheduler coordinates recruiters', hiring managers' and panels' calendars.1 |
Neither leaves the steps to you by hand, so the time to a first interview comes down to replies. hireEZ's pages give no figure for it; for teams it says they "tend to be live in weeks".5 With Boost the pace sets it: first interviews in about 5 days at the Fast pace estimate. The real difference is whose hours go in: a hireEZ seat is a recruiter's daily tool, Boost asks a hiring manager for a brief and a yes or a no on each person.
Quality
Whom you meet, and how they're checked
Passive and active candidates
Here hireEZ reaches further. It sources people who aren't looking across 45+ job boards and platforms on a base of 1B+ profiles, resurfaces past candidates in your ATS and ranks inbound applicants.1 Boost reaches passive people on LinkedIn only and doesn't post jobs, by design: job posts now draw about 291 applications per hire, against roughly 100 in early 2021,6 and the people you'd most like to hire are rarely among them.
Checked on substance, not keywords
Both read profiles for fit rather than keywords. hireEZ's agent ranks people by fit with the why behind each match,4 then screens them with a conversational AI by voice or chat.1 Boost reads every profile in full against your must-haves, invites only the ones that meet them and shows you why. What comes back differs: hireEZ gives a recruiter ranked candidates to work, Boost gives a hiring manager people who already said yes.
Fake CVs
Open applications are how most fake candidates get in. Gartner expects one candidate profile in four worldwide to be fake by 2028;7 34% of recruiters already spend up to half their week filtering spam applications;8 and a single North Korean remote IT worker scheme reached more than 70 US employers.9 hireEZ handles inbound applicants too, and its AI screen includes a fraud check.1 Boost takes no applications: you meet only people it invited who said yes and filled in your questionnaire.
Which one
When Boost wins, and when hireEZ still makes sense
Choose Boost when
- You're a founder or a hiring manager with one or two roles, and no recruiter to run a platform.
- You don't want a yearly seat. hireEZ's self-serve plan is $5,929 upfront or $549 a month for a year; Boost has no subscription, credits don't expire and you can pause any time.
- You want the result handed over: people who said yes, their questionnaire answers, and a slot in your Google Calendar.
- You'd rather keep your own LinkedIn account out of cold outreach. Boost doesn't touch it.
hireEZ still makes sense when
- You run recruiting for a team with many open roles. hireEZ is built for enterprise TA teams at companies with 1,000+ employees, and for staffing and RPO firms.1
- You want to reach people beyond LinkedIn, and by email and text as well as InMail. hireEZ searches 45+ platforms on 1B+ profiles.1
- Your ATS is full of past candidates. hireEZ resurfaces them and works with Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, iCIMS, Greenhouse and other ATSs.4
- You also handle inbound and need team tools: applicant ranking, AI screening, panel scheduling, a CRM and reports, in one platform.1 Boost has no ATS and no multi-recruiter features.
Using both
Boost alongside hireEZ
Keep hireEZ for the team's pipeline. Rediscovery in your ATS, inbound applicants, nurture and reports belong in the platform your recruiters run; Boost doesn't do them.
Give Boost the role nobody has time for. A hiring manager's niche role, or a spike the TA team can't absorb, can run on Boost at $0.50 an invite without adding a seat for the year.
Tell each other who's being contacted. Boost doesn't connect to an ATS, so let your recruiters know which role it's running and whom to leave out, and nobody hears from you twice.
FAQ
hireEZ vs Boost: questions people ask
How much does hireEZ cost in 2026?
The self-serve Growth seat is $494 a month paid upfront for a year ($5,929), or $549 a month paid monthly on the same annual plan ($6,588 a year).2 Teams get a quote set against the tools hireEZ replaces;5 Vendr's buyer data puts the median contract at $13,000 a year, ranging from $7,000 to $25,000.3
What's included in hireEZ's Growth plan?
EZ Agent, AI sourcing across the open web on 1 billion profiles, rediscovery, campaigns, reports and market insights, with email, calendar and 40+ ATS integrations. Each seat gets 300 contact, 300 rediscovery and 300 export credits and 1,000 AI-Review credits a month.2
Is there a free trial of hireEZ?
Yes: 7 days, with 50 contact credits, 200 AI-Review credits and 5 projects. The plan page shows the annual cost as "billed after trial ends".2 Boost starts with 100 free credits and no card, and nothing renews.
What is a good hireEZ alternative for a hiring manager?
If you have a role to fill and no recruiting team, a seat built for recruiters is more tool than you need. Boost takes a brief and does the search, the LinkedIn invites, the follow-ups, the questionnaire and the booking, at $0.50 an invite with no subscription. A TA team running many roles is who hireEZ is built for.
Does hireEZ book interviews?
Yes. Its AI Scheduler coordinates calendars across recruiters, hiring managers and interview panels once a recruiter moves a candidate forward.1 Boost books too: people who said yes pick a free slot in your Google Calendar.
Which reaches more candidates, hireEZ or Boost?
hireEZ: it searches 45+ job boards and platforms on 1B+ profiles plus your ATS, and writes by email, text and InMail.1 Boost reaches passive people on LinkedIn only, at the pace you set: 600 invites a month for one role at the Fast pace.
Does Boost connect to my ATS or send email?
No. Boost works on LinkedIn only, with no email, ATS sync, job posts or interview notes. If your hiring runs through an ATS with a recruiting team, those are the parts a platform like hireEZ covers.
